We heard about Southeast Asia Grill from cuzzo eats on instagram. Was excited to try . I ordered chicken teriyaki and my man ordered skewers 1 orange chicken and 1 beef . We also ordered chicken egg rolls . Lady who took my order was super sweet. This food spot is a takeout only. Very small business with a couple chairs for you to sit on while you wait for your food. When I picked up food the lady who took my order informed me she put some popcorn chicken in my bag free of charge. Very kind. Food was good! Chicken teriyaki wasn't like the chicken teriyaki that I was used to and had more of a barbecue flavor but it was still good. Chicken egg rolls were amazing they were thin crunchy and delicious. My man enjoyed his kebabs and we both enjoyed the popcorn chicken they put in our bag.
The Beef and Chicken skewers are the bomb . Also the deep friend Shrimp rolls and the deep fried green beans are pretty good too. This will be my fourth time going there. It does not disappoint. Taste is 11 out of 10, yes you read that right.
AWESOME service, AWESOME food, and fair prices! I come here once or twice every few weeks, and the two ladies working the kitchen and front always recognize me and hook me up! They are very clean, polite, and high quality cooks, and people. Love supporting local businesses like this one! Teriyaki Chicken combo plate and a side of fried green beans will always be one of my favorite "comfort" meals away from home that doesn't break the bank and is quite healthy
10/10 recommend! I usually get food from Southeast Asian Grill the farmers market but with it closed I decided to try their store front. And they did not disappoint! Food is still so good and fresh! They are open for take out only, but still very much worth it! Will be coming back for sure, and I'm so happy I don't have to wait for the farmers market to have their food!
The food was really good and fresh! I had the teriyaki chicken plate and it was the best I had in Modesto. I also ordered the veggie egg rolls and they were hot and crispy! Service was good too! The woman behind the counter was very nice and gave family vibes. Will come back again!

Friendly service and great tasting food make sure order extra meat 1 stick isn't enough for combination. Takes Apple/google Pay which was awesome because my wife had my card.
Tried this place for the first time today, got the combo plate like $13 comes with chow mein, fried rice, small egg roll and your choice of skewer meat. The orange chicken and chow mein were good, didn't like the fried rice! But will order again :) sweet staff!
Amazing food & great prices, staff super friendly family-owned! They are at this location but also work the farmer's market by the library downtown on Saturdays.
Was at the Modesto farmer's market and they have a booth there. Ordered some fried green beans and an orange chicken skewer for my husband. Had the chicken egg rolls for myself. The fried green beans were hot and crispy and served with a cream spicy sauce. My husband ate them all and was wanting more. I'm sure he could kill at least two of these! The chicken egg rolls were super crispy, even after the drive back to Turlock. I love tiny egg rolls like these! Served with traditional sweet chili sauce. My husband didn't realize that his orange chicken skewer would be popcorn chicken. They dipped it in the orange sauce and then wrapped it in foil. He would have liked more sauce on it. Will try again next time we are at the market!
